This post contains pictures and also my journal I kept through out my journeys. Hope you enjoy!

Day 1:
We left the house around four and got to the airport in good time... even catching an earlier flight from Spokane! Praise God! We flew to Seattle and had a 3 hour layover there not leaving the airport till 11:30 pm. My Dad and I finally landed in Houston the following morning around 5:30 am Texas time and 3:30 am my time. We had another 3 hour layover which I cat-napped through. That afternoon we arrived in Managua, Nicaragua. Being at the Nicaragua airport was crazy and scary. I had no idea what the people were saying or what to do. From that experience I realized that we tend to forget God when we know the language. If you know what people are saying or what's going on, you think you know everything. I started praying for little things like, who to talk to, how to find baggage claim, to make it out of the airport, and so on. I couldn't believe how much more I relied on God when I didn't know the language.
God has also put 3 Christians in our life since the morning we left. The man who checked our baggage was a Christian and encouraged us, I sat next to a guy on the flight to Houston who was a Christian and the Lord then put Marvin our life. Marvin was from L.A and he spoke Spanish and had been to Managua many times before. He was a Christian and was bringing his Pastor down to see his mother. Marvin helped us around and also made us feel at home at the hotel. Thank you Lord for putting these men in our life who have encouraged us and who I know will be thinking of us on this trip.

Day 2:
I woke us this morning prepared for another adventure! My Dad and I walked over to the bush plane airport so we could fly to our village, Waspum. We sat around the small airport for awhile but met up with Ted. Ted is a man who is making his second trip down to Waspum to work on the Seek The Lamb building. It was so nice to finally speak English to someone! The three of us took a 2 hour flight to the village and landed on a dirt runway... with cows everywhere. It is so hot! I think today its in the 100's with humidity worse than I ever imagined. I thought Houston was bad! :) The Mosquito people watched us get off the plane and it felt really strange to have the whole village staring at us. Nutie came over to me and gave me a huge smile and a very warm welcome. Camille,19, was also with her and we became fast friends. Tom and David also welcomed us and helped us get the bags home. We walked to the house and got settled in. The people here lead such relaxed lives. They sleep, talk, wash clothes, cook meals, the children play, and everything is slow paced. It's actually a really nice change.
We went swimming today in the river, which was really fun! The water was refreshing and clear. We met Marlin, a 19 year old. He and the guys jumped off stumps and some of them bathed.
I really have learned to appreciate English... haha... it sounds so funny but knowing what people are saying is such a comfort :) It kinda nice because no one here cares what you look like, what you wear, if you are wearing make-up or not. They don't care how your hair is done or even you have showered. Very different from America.
Today we also went to "the building". That's what they call the Seek the Lamb building. It was beautiful and it was hard for me to believe that it was made all by hand... its incredible! No machines were used, talk about hard work! Compared to the other houses, the building is a mansion. It is made of cement instead if wood and is three stories instead of one room.
Chickens, cats, dogs, cows, mules, and donkeys are everywhere! They just roam around the village and go anywhere they want. The funny thing is the people don't care and everyone knows what animal belongs to what person.
I love the people here and the way of living but today I really miss my friends and family. I've been saving my Ipod battery, music from home is so nice to listen to in a strange environment. It oddly helps me feel at home... weird huh?
For lunch we had rice, beans, meat, and cabbage. And then we had noodles for dinner. Really good! I played with some boys tonight. They would draw a line in the dirt and throw coins and try to get closest to the line. If you were far away from it they would hit you on the hand. Mosquito people love music and right now people are singing and clapping. Almost every person has a radio on... its crazy!
I thank God for bringing me here and I can't wait to see what God has planned!

Day 3:
Last night there was a large fight outside our house. I guess they settled the fight without much violence, which is good. Lots of men here get very drunk at night. They drink until they can't stand up. This is one of their biggest problems.
Today we had morning worship with Tom, Tommy, Ted, David, Nutie, Camille, Peachy, my dad and me. It was really good and I got to know the team better. Nutie plays the guitar and has an amazing singing voice! After worship I went with Peachy and the boys to a football game (soccer) and basketball game. It was really cool to see the kids play.
Peachy and I left the games early and went home. When we got home we saw the neighbors slaughter a pig. It was fascinating!!
Today Camille had a bible study for the girls which was really good! The girls are very sweet and one even spoke English. It was so encouraging to see the girls get so excited about God and to hear the questions they asked. After the Bible study Camille and I both took naps. It gets so hot and humid that walking and breathing are hard... so you nap :)
Phelix is my new friend :) He is 15 and very smart! We talk every night and today he wanted to take us to the museum today. The museum is very very small but filled with Mosquito history. Phelix was so excited to show around and talk about his history.
I haven't showered in a few days and I feel gross! We really take showers for granted. I would give anything for a shower (or running water) with soap to actually get clean.
I love it here but I'm getting homesick and culture sick! Really! I miss my culture! I've been asking God to give me love for these people. I love them but its so hard to communicate with them. Today I found myself counting down the days until I get to go home. Why am I not content here? Is it me being selfish and wanting my life of luxury back?
The bugs here arn't horrible but I have gotten a ton of bits on my legs! I tell you what though, God gets you through the day. Normally, dealing with all this heat and discomfort would be insanly hard, but now it really isnt that bad. I've been able to handle everything the Lord has handed to me so far.

Day 4:
Today was great! We started out the day by having breakfast and worship. We are crazy because we are getting ready for the teachers conference which starts Monday. We are expecting 70 teachers from down-river. Today my dad and I got the books ready for the teachers which contain English lessons and songs. It was quite fun or "living the dream" as David would say!
After making the books we all went over to the building to have English class with the kids. Phelix got up at 5 to go to work so he could get done in time to come to the lesson. We decided to teach the kids animal names in english, and because we were teaching animal names it seem right to teach the story about Noah and the Ark. David did a good job teaching them and all the children loved him. Some of the local children wanted to show us there native dancing and I really enjoyed watching them dance :) These kids are so smart and just plain adorable! I love all of them!
Marlin and Phelix came over and talk with me for an hour. They were teaching me Spanish and I was helping with there English. They both love the fact that I can't roll my r's. They always laugh and say "I love your accent" :) We had a lot of laughs! They also love taking pictures and we took lots tonight.
Peachy and I recorded an English lesson for the radio today. It was fun and I think its great that we are able to use the radio to teach.
And the most exciting thing that happened today was that I was able to take a BUCKET SHOWER!! Oh my goodness!! You never realize how amazing it feels to be clean until you are filthy. It is so hot and sticky here... almost to the point of being unbearable! But a shower felt so good!!
Being here is amazing and I'm starting to feel more at home. The boys and girls that I talked with today were sad that I was leaving so soon and they told me I had to come back. They said they would be waiting by the airport for me to come again. I told them I would love to come back but I would have to see what the Lord's plan was. Marlin made me laugh today because he asked if I was going to get married. I found this question interesting because in there culture marriage is not really common. I told him probably marriage is in my future and he then said "Well, if you do you still need to visit". :)
Missionary life is so hard! I never realized how hard it could be. There are some things I really love here that we as Americans have lost. American families are small and they rarely eat together or have dinner conversations. Here families are huge! 8-12 kids per family and they eat together and sit and talk with each other. There is no TV or internet so at night people just sit down and share stories.
The bugs are not bad here but I still managed to get 12 more bits on my legs... gah! Camille and I joked around today by saying "my lotion is sun block and my perfume is bug spray". No Joke!

Day 5:
Today was amazing and sad. I really had my eyes opened. We went to church this morning and it was very interesting since I had no idea what the preacher was saying. Tom was kind enough to translate for us and from what he said the sermon was really good. It was about the end being near and us as Christians needing to save the unbelievers in the world. He told everyone that even though we have different colored skin we have the same color blood and are brothers in Christ. They asked our team to sing so we sang couple songs for them. After the service we went to Abbey's house. I was amazed! The house was one room... no bigger than my own room. The floor had holes and was made out of wood planks. The roof was tin and leaked. There were three beds and one bench, that was all the furniture they had. The house was bare, damp, and the floor was shifty. Abbey works at the house we are staying at. Her husband abandoned her 13 years ago and left her with 5 small children. Her mother died 2 years ago and she takes care of her dying father. He is bed-ridden and can't eat solid food. She takes extremely good care of him. This man is not her real father but when her husband left her he took her in and took care of her and her children. She told us today that she was just "returning the favor". We sang and prayed over her father and at the end he told us "I want to give you something but I have nothing to give, but I will be praying for God to give you mercy and love." I couldn't help but have tears in my eyes seeing this man and his family. He was living in the worst of conditions yet he was asking God to look after us? Why did God give me so much and them so little? Why am I so blessed? What did I do to deserve the life I have? I can't write down on paper this experience I had or what I saw, but I can tell you that we know nothing of suffering or the meaning of poor. Abbey leaves for work at 5 every morning and walks 45 minutes there and back to take care of her family. She will always be in my prayers... as will all these people.
When I got home I took a nap because I had gotten a headache from the heat. It rained which cooled the air down but its still very hot.
When I woke up Dad, Marlin, Phelix, Camille and I packed up 70 some backpacks for the teachers tomorrow. We also blew up air beds. After eating dinner I worked on the boys English for a few hours. Camille and I also talked about GCBI (Great Commissions Bible Institute) today for a couple hours.
OH! Exciting news!! Today we got running water!!! I was actually able to take a shower!!! Its only a slow drizzle but still!!

Day 7:
I just got done talking with Phelix. He brought over a Spanish book for me to read and I gave him an English book for him to read. It was really fun but I don't think I did very well :) He is such an amazing guy! He listed off all the capitals all over the world, which I don't think I couod ever do! He told me today that he wants to become a teacher... he would be really good at it! Marlin also talked with me today about his "big dream". He told me he wants to leave Waspum and get money to buy a nice house for his mom. Once she's comfortable he wants to get money for school. I couldn't believe how selfless this boy was! If he asked me about my dreams, my dreams would all be selfish and centered around me. This really hit me to the core!
Today was the first day of the teachers conference. Peachy taught English class and it was really fun. Because I don't know the language it was hard for me to follow what she was saying but from the teachers faces I could tell that it was pretty good. I went home for lunch and fell asleep in the hammock. Such a beautiful thing. Camille and I washed clothes today which was good because I was running out of clothes :)

Day 8:
The conference was today and the team taught there lessons. We were there till later in the afternoon. Tommy and I messed around with cameras and talked for 2 hours. We had a very large storm come through with lots of lightning, thunder, and RAIN. I guess this is why they call it the rain forest.
Phelix and Marlin took us to the Rio Coco river today! It was really cool! My dad also held a pet monkey :) It was even for sale but... we didn't get it. Haha I don't think I could handle a pet monkey, they are pretty strange creatures.
I love the people here and I wish I could stay longer. There is so much I could do here but I know the Lord has His plans. Hopefully me coming back to Waspum is in His plans :) I would love to come back!

Day 9-10:
For the next two days I wrote nothing in my journal because I got real sick. I do have pictures of the airport and other various ones. I went to the hospital in Waspum, got some medicine and have mostly recovered.

Thank you all for your prayers! God is doing amazing things in Waspum and I'm so grateful for the time there He gave me!

This is where I'll be!

Well I'm off to Managua, Nicaragua! This should be quite the adventure going to a place where there is no electricity or running water... we take so many things for granted!

1)Please pray that we have a safe trip down to Managua. It takes us two days to make it down there. My dad may be able to contact my mom when we arrive, so you can e-mail or call her if you want.
2) Please pray that my Dad and I remain healthy. There are many illnesses due to the lack of cleanliness. Also, there are a lot of bugs, snakes, and other crazy things... not looking forward to those.
3) Please pray that we can be an encouragement to theses people and show God's love through ALL our actions. Since we don't speak the language, a lot of our witnessing will be through our actions.
4) Mike's father (Forrest) died this week which is causing complications in their traveling plans. Please pray for the family as they mourn the loss of a loved one and that they can make it down to Nicaragua.
4) Personally, I am getting really nervous and a little scared. I really appreciate your prayers!

I am bringing a journal to write down all my experiences so I can share them with you. I will post pictures and stories when I get back. This should be around the 30th.

What Jesus Did For Us!

Jesus Christ was willing to come to earth as a man. To be born into a common family. To voluntarily take on the trails and tribulations of being a human.

If you look at His life here on earth you will see that He always played by the rules. When He was tempted in the wilderness by Satan, He could have commanded Satan to leave Him alone. He could have turned stones into bread to eat, He could have become the ruler of the earth without first dying on the cross, yet He did none of these things.

He could have died for our sins with dignity. Why allow Himself to be mocked, spit on, beaten, stripped, hung on a cross like a common criminal, and laughed at by the world? Why not come to earth as a grown man instead of a baby? Why grow up as a carpenter's son, working hard each day, getting splinters, sore muscles, colds, feeling loneliness, sadness, headaches, you name it?

Does all this show a weakness on His part? Did He have to prove something? If that is what you think about the Creator of the universe, then you are sorely mistaken. He had nothing to prove, nor was His suffering a sign of His weakness.

One day Jesus will return to this earth, but this time it will not be as a suffering servant. He will come in all His glory as the conquering Lord and Master. He will judge all the inhabitants of this earth past and present. Every tongue will proclaim Him as God, every knee will bend and every heart that has rejected Him will feel fear.

He demands our respect and our loyalty, but even more He deserves them!! Don't ever be tempted to think that He was or is weak, He is a mighty warrior, but with a heart big enough to love us despite our rebellion. He said it Himself: (John 15:13-14 NIV) Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. Pretty awesome thought don't you agree? The Creator died for us and adopted us into the family as heirs!

HE IS RISEN!!!

The book of Job

This month I am reading the book of Psalms and Job. I read the Psalms every month for encouragement and then pick another book to study. This month it's the book of Job. It has been really hard for me to read this book because when I look at how Job never curses God or turns his heart away from Him (even through all the hardships he goes through) it makes me realize how many times in my daily life I feel mad at God over mere trifles. It is daunting for me to think that God tests me...how do I respond? Do I bless God through hard times? or do I curse Him? It's so hard to praise God when you feel like everything is falling down around you. My goal for this month is for me to realize that God is always there and He puts troubles in my life for a reason and I need to praise Him through EVERYTHING! The good and the bad. Just like Jared told me awhile ago "If God brings you to it, He'll bring you through it"... it's so true!

Job 5:8-27 is one of my favorite verses. It is so encouraging!

8 "But if it were I, I would appeal to God;
I would lay my cause before him.

9 He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed,
miracles that cannot be counted.

10 He bestows rain on the earth;
he sends water upon the countryside.

11 The lowly he sets on high,
and those who mourn are lifted to safety.

12 He thwarts the plans of the crafty,
so that their hands achieve no success.

13 He catches the wise in their craftiness,
and the schemes of the wily are swept away.

14 Darkness comes upon them in the daytime;
at noon they grope as in the night.

15 He saves the needy from the sword in their mouth;
he saves them from the clutches of the powerful.

16 So the poor have hope,
and injustice shuts its mouth.

17 "Blessed is the man whom God corrects;
so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.

Rio Coco Nicaragua

I am so excited to tell you all that the Lord has blessed me with an opportunity to go to Nicaragua this summer! I have been praying for the Lord to use me to share the wonderful love He gives me everyday and He has graciously opened this door for me. My dad and I will be down there for about two weeks. This will be an amazing experience and I am so grateful for everyones prayers! God is so good!

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7).

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:19-20)

For Valentines Day the guys in my class surprised us with a candle light dinner. The guys grilled the chicken and made homemade cheesecake... it was so amazing and all of my girlfriends were shocked!!

We now have three feet of snow and Moscow is pretty much a winter wonderland! Yesterday we were stuck here because both highways that take us out of town were closed, all day. They opened around 9 last night. We still have a high wind/snow warning and it looks like we may get 2-4 MORE inches. I have never seen so much snow in my entire life! These pictures are all of my town... enjoy!

School was canceled today because we got 11 inches of snow last night. Yay! Right now we have 2 feet of snow outside and the police are telling us not to leave the house or drive on the roads. Our whole town is basically shut down and possibly will be for the weekend. I went out to help my dad shovel and couldn't open the gate, but I was able to climb over it because the snow was level with the top of the fence. When I got to the other side i was in snow above my waist and almost to my shoulders... it was so cool! I took some pictures this morning and I'll take some more later :) God Bless!

Question marks!

I was thinking today about how worried I am about my future. What should I do with my life? Where should I go for college? Should I go to college? Where am I going to work? Am I spiritually ready for a mission trip? Will I pass my test tomorrow?

Nothing seems to be clear, it's all just a mystery. I was getting rather frustrated and discouraged but then I found this verse in the Bible and I was seriously strengthened and calmed.

Psalm 32:8-10
"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you and watch over you."

Do not be like the horse or the mule,
which have no understanding
but must be controlled by bit and bridle
or they will not come to you.

Many are the woes of the wicked,
but the LORD's unfailing love
surrounds the man who trusts in him."

God knows what is going to happen, He alone knows my future. If there is a God who is all powerful (omnipotent), all knowing (omniscient), and always present (omnipresent), who loves me and calls me His child, what do I have to fear or worry about? Obviously, I can't just sit around waiting for something to happen, but with prayer and faith everything will fall into place and work out perfectly in the end.

I thank God everyday for His unfailing and undying love. I am blessed beyond imagining and yet I base my life around my wants and my desires and complain because my plans don't turn out my way or the outcome benefits others and not myself. Why am I like this? Sin. It's inescapable, but praise God for forgiveness because without it we would all be dead in our own sin!!!

"Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved." (Psalm 55:22)

"My little children, these things I write to you, that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous." (1 John 2:1)

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)

Children should never be soldiers

The children of Uganda have been caught in a cross-fire of a 21 year old civil war. Children are waken in the middle of the night, forced to dress and are walked at gunpoint into the African wilderness. Their parents are beaten and are forced to watch their children go... and in most cases... never to see them again. The children are raped, beaten, mutilated, and sometimes forced to kill there own families and friends. Children who are unable to keep up or are to weak to fight, are killed or left to die.

There are many sickening stories of the brutal treatment these children undergo. One young boy was told to kill his best friend, boil and drink his blood, just for the enjoyment of his kidnappers. One girl was rescued and reunited with her parents which she no longer recognized because she had been brainwashed. Many children suffer sever trauma from the cruel treatment they undergo.

We need to keep these children in our prayers. Things are being done, but without prayer all the work is in vain. We need to pray for these children to hear the gospel and be comforted by God's love, also that the Lord would send Christians to Uganda, to not only spread the Word but to encourage the brothers and sisters working over there. With the Lord's help we can make a difference, we can save lives. This is a gruesome reality... this is happening today but it can stop.

Remember, with Christ nothing is impossible!

We had a wonderful vacation filled with friendship and Gods splendor! I couldn't believe the wonderful creation I saw! People may say that they can't see God, but in the two short days I had in northern Idaho I saw God's words in so many ways! Personally, He showed me His power and grace. Two opposites but yet it's true! I saw magnificent mountains and deep waters but I also saw the gentle rain and peaceful waves. We had this dog come in needing surgery because he had eaten the bottom of his plastic crate. I was Tech Assistant today so I helped out a lot!! Dr. Miller took out the stomach and cut a little slit on the top of it. Then she started to take out the stuff inside. There were huge chunks of plastic which were entwined in grass. The bottom pictures are of the small intestine. I was SOOO EXCITED to help out!!! I find this stuff so fun and interesting.... :) :)

Spring Break

Spring break just got over (boo hoo) so I thought I'd tell you all about our trip!
So we went up to Canada near Hot Springs. It was amazing. God's creation is so overpowering, it truly showed His power and majesty with all the beautiful mountains and animals :)
On our way up to the cabin we saw a herd of elk and moose. It was so cool to see them... the moose were HUGE and that's an understatement! Once we got settled in our cabin Matt and I quickly started flipping through the 100 and some channels on the TV... for those of you who don't know, we have NO TV at our house in Moscow. :( We quickly got informed that the world was not going to end and that American Idol was still as exciting as I remembered. The resort had a swimming pool and an out-door hot tub. That was cool! It also had a pool table, shuffle board, and racket ball (ouch). Every night they showed a free movie, so I watched, Monster-in-Law, The Devil Wears Prada, and a bit of 9/11. Because we never watch movies during the school months, we indulged ourselves quite a bit by renting, Hitch, Crocodile Dundee, IRobot, Top Gun, The Fugitive, Fiddler on the Roof, Battle of Britain and Over the Hedge. 11 movies on a 7 day vacation.... yup that's good...lol. We snowboarded almost everyday and no one got hurt. Granted I was a little sore, but oh well. On our way back to Moscow we saw a Bald Eagle!!!!!! It was flying around and then perched on a near by tree. It was amazing! I never thought I'd see one in real life!

But yeah, now I'm back in school which means late nights, lots of homework, tears, stress, and no more movies! :(

Ok so its been some time since and a few unnamed people were begging me to keep with it! So here I am typing about what has been going on.

Well, I'm in a privet classical school called Logos. I'm in 11 grade (Junior year) and have an amazing class. As for my grades, they could be better, but I'm remaining on the honor role so I'm pleased. Matthew is a genius! He has A's in all of his classes and is keeping his dream of becoming a Air Force pilot in view.
Christ Church was quite a change for us because of the amount of members! I was used to a smaller church where you knew everyone but here a whole gym is filled with members and families so it is nearly impossible for us to know everyone.
The Lord has been extremely good to us by providing wonderful friends, teachers, and strong christian environment.

MICAH'S FIRST TRIAL!!!!

Micah's first agility trial was Friday! We did GREAT!!!!!!!! He ran three runs, Jumpers and Tunnelers 1 & 2.

Our first run was Jumpers. We placed 1st and Qualified!!!!!!!! I WAS SO HAPPY!!

Our second run Tunnelers 1. We placed 3rd and Qualified!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!

Our last run was Tunnelers 2. WE placed 1st and Qualified!! There were 66 dogs in this class and only three were as fast as Micah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We did great considering that it was his FIRST trial!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God had been SO good to me in everyway! I want to tell you something that the Lord did for me today....

I've had acne for 2 years now and I got mad at God. I was "yelling" at Him and complaning. I'm not like Job who can just take hardships and still praise the Lord... I'm such a sinner. Anyway, I decided to read the Bible... I was looking for comfort and I found it in a different verse and a very different way than I ever expected. It was in Proverbs 3. It said "be not weary in the Lords correction, God corrects the ones He loves". The Lord gave me acne for a reason, and maybe to correct me in something.... I do not know.... but this verse brought me much comfort and now I'm happy knowing that the Lord loves me!!

Just had to share my little story!

2 NEW Movies

Yep we had great week. I gave a speech, Dad got his new Jeep, Micah went to training class, and as a family Dad took us out to eat TWICE this week and the the MOVIES.

Dad and I saw Dreamer Friday night. It was a great movie. There was little "action" for guys but it was a great family movie. The horse Dreamer broke her foot at the end of a race, but instead of putting her down (the girls Dad) decided to keep her to breed. It ended up that Dreamer was sterile so the only hope for the horse was to race. I won't tell you any more you must go see it!!! DON'T go on Friday night. Where are all these teens parents? The girls wore "Nothing" and all the guys thought about was how the girls looked and you know what. It was just awful. After seeing all those skinny girls I tryed on my size 3 jeans and to my dismay they didn't fit. But you know...who cares how I look? I wore a jean skirt to the movies (because I'm wearing skirts now instead of pants) the look all the people gave me was like they thought I was from Mars? It kinda hurt but you know what... all I had to do was pray for God to give me streanth and then I was fine! God has been so merciful and gracious to me, in placing me in a home where my parents love me. God is so good!

Last night Dad took Matthew, Mom, and me to see Chicken Little. HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!! GREAT MOVIE!!!!! Mom thought it was pretty stupid....but that's it.....it was SO stupid it was funny!!! I'm not telling anything about this movie cause it would really give it away!!!!!!

Well, today is Sunday. I'd better go get prepared for church. May God Bless you all in his abundant mercy and unchanging love!

God has finally showed me what I'm supposed to do with my life. I have been debating on what I should do with my life and after LOTS of pray and investigation I have decided. Since I'll soon be a Senior I was pressed to decided what to do when done with high school. This is my diction. I plan on becoming a Medical Assistant. Lord willing I will go to a college like Lincon Tech and get my Medical Asst. Degree and then take a hands on course that some Hospitals have. If I really like it then I may peruse a Nurse degree. I'll have to see. But so far that is the plan! Please pray for me! I will need a lot of guidance from God! Thanks guys I would really appreciate it!
Also I'm waiting for something important and it hasn;y come in 3 mths. So please pray that I'll have patience and that it will come.

Girls and College?

So, what do you think about girls and college?
Here's what I think. I think that females should go if they are called to do so.
God has called(most) females to be homemakers, faithful wives and loving mothers. Will going to college make women want to be buisness women, competitive workers, or successful owners of a company? These things are not "bad" things.
My goal in life is not to be a successful buisness women, but a keeper of the home. I can not wait to get married, raise children, and have a family who loves the Lord and wants to serve Him. Will going to college help me reach this goal?

So Micah is here! He is a Black tri Sheltie. I have been working on his weave poles and his teeter. His contacts do need worked on. I plan to work on that later this week, for know I'm just trying to make him comforatble. As for the jumps, tire and walkit he's fine. I have a hard time taking him off the obsticals. We are shooting for a show in the middle of winter, if all goes as planned. Micah will be going to his first agility class Tuesday. I hope all goes well. CYA! I'll keep you updated on his progress!

Ok, so its been awhile. Really sorry life can get really busy you know. LOL, but I guess that's no excuse. Well, I have some really exciting news to tell you all. Tomarrow (Wednesday) I'm going to look at a purbred B/C (Border Collie) who's 3 yrs. old. She is 19" tall and very sweet. I may be able to take her home tomarrow, but I want to be very carful because I want to have this dog take me to the Champs or even World (in Agility) Well, that's the news. I let you know how it goes.

Well, it has been awile since I last posted but that's because nothing has really gone on (that's exciting). Now this is the moment that you think "poor Stacey"! LOL! Ok never mind.
So lets see........um........hmmmm.......well........ok.........GOT IT! Since we ALL hate Hilary Duff does any of you like Linsay Lohan? They have this HUGE cat-fight going on because they both sing, act, and start fashion trends. To tell you the truth I don't like them. I like their looks but is that what really matters? Not really....I mean no.
Ok enough of that. OH, YES BIG NEWS!!!!! We can have grapes, apples, bannans, and organic COWS milk!!!!!!!!!! YES, THIS IS THE LIFE!!!!!!!

Spring

We can tell that spring is here by the way the birds are singing, and the fresh aroma the air has, everything is happy and gay. In the morning, when you walk out to your porch with a cup of tea in your hand, you see the smiling face of the sun welcoming you to a, yet again, beautiful morning God has given you. As you sit down on the old brown rocking chair, your grandmother once used, you pick up a black leather-bound book that ways laying at your side. The precious book you have lived on. Having read it when you were sad, happy, troubled, stressed, and every occasion, to find peace and guidance. As you flip through the weightless pages you turn to Genesis 2:15 "And the Lord God took man, and put him in the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it".
When you finish the verse you look at the garden which has just awakened from its long winter nap, you think of last years crop. The excitement of watching the little green stems pop out of the ground, as the weeks go by you see little flowers sprouting from the stems. Watering it, you wait for these little plants to give you their appetizing gifts. As the months go by you eat the fruit and vegetables but not without working for it. Planning a fight, the weeds grow relentlessly, no matter what you do, those little weapons sprout up as fast as you defeat one. Yes, it's an on going battle. After the fall of man God says to Adam "...Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return." Genesis 3:17-19.
We can expect hard work when growing a garden, but at the end of the season, as you harvest all the fruit, vegetables, and flowers, you have a feeling of accomplishment. As you start canning, you remember all those months ahead which will be cold and dark. But you can bring out a can of spring, summer and fall to think of next year and what that garden Gad has given you will provide!
