Micah
So Micah is here! He is a Black tri Sheltie. I have been working on his weave poles and his teeter. His contacts do need worked on. I plan to work on that later this week, for know I'm just trying to make him comforatble. As for the jumps, tire and walkit he's fine. I have a hard time taking him off the obsticals. We are shooting for a show in the middle of winter, if all goes as planned. Micah will be going to his first agility class Tuesday. I hope all goes well. CYA! I'll keep you updated on his progress!

Hey just a couple words of advice..I would not be teaching anything like weaves or full contact equipment right now with Micah. For one hes so young and at his age his growth plates are most likely not closed. And another thing work on basics like a strong bond so you can be a good team.
Another thing is there is so much stuff in agility that a dog should know before steping a foot on equipment or jumping. Foundation is the key at his age.
Micah is only 1/2 the team, if you want to go to champs and place it is mostly up to you. You have to train scooter and micah and you dont have to be fast to place, accuracy is a big key, you can have speed but with no accuracy it wont make a difference.
So dont push micah. If he is ready to compete in the winter, than good for him. But its better to wait and have him 110% ready adn him 110% finish growing. SO just let im be a fun and happy puppy before he grows up :-)
