Leaving for awhile!

This is where I'll be!

Well I'm off to Managua, Nicaragua! This should be quite the adventure going to a place where there is no electricity or running water... we take so many things for granted!

1)Please pray that we have a safe trip down to Managua. It takes us two days to make it down there. My dad may be able to contact my mom when we arrive, so you can e-mail or call her if you want.
2) Please pray that my Dad and I remain healthy. There are many illnesses due to the lack of cleanliness. Also, there are a lot of bugs, snakes, and other crazy things... not looking forward to those.
3) Please pray that we can be an encouragement to theses people and show God's love through ALL our actions. Since we don't speak the language, a lot of our witnessing will be through our actions.
4) Mike's father (Forrest) died this week which is causing complications in their traveling plans. Please pray for the family as they mourn the loss of a loved one and that they can make it down to Nicaragua.
4) Personally, I am getting really nervous and a little scared. I really appreciate your prayers!

I am bringing a journal to write down all my experiences so I can share them with you. I will post pictures and stories when I get back. This should be around the 30th.
